How much do I have to pay for a CMGO subscription?

CMGO is available as an add-on subscription for StarHub TV+ at $6.98/month with viewing of up to 1080p (full HD) resolution on supported devices.

How do I subscribe to CMGO with StarHub?

For new StarHub TV+ customers
You can sign up for StarHub TV+ with any StarHub TV+ Pass and add-on CMGO to enjoy access to CMGO content. For current promotions, please visit here.


For existing StarHub TV+ customers
You can add CMGO via the StarHub App by following these steps:

  1. Select “TV” on the StarHub App home screen.
  2. Select your TV subscription if you have more than 1 TV subscription(s).
  3. Under “My passes & add-ons”, select the “Modify” button.
  4. Under “Modify TV Plan”, scroll down to “Add-on apps” and select “CMGO (Add-On).
  5. Select “Add” and click “Review add-on changes”.
  6. Review the subscription details and click “Confirm”.
  7. You will receive an SMS once your subscription request is successfully activated. Follow the instructions to activate your subscription via CMGO.

Is activation required for CMGO?

You’ll need to create a CMGO account and activate your CMGO subscription using your Hub iD on the CMGO website. Find out how to activate your CMGO subscription here.

What will happen to my CMGO subscription if I terminate my StarHub TV+ service?

Unfortunately, your CMGO subscription will be terminated as well.

What will happen to my CMGO subscription if I transfer the ownership of my StarHub TV+ service?

Unfortunately, your CMGO subscription will be terminated. The new owner of your StarHub TV service will have the access to CMGO as long as they keep the StarHub TV subscription(s). They will need to create a CMGO account and log in with their Hub iD to activate their subscription.

What will happen to my CMGO subscription if I suspend my StarHub TV+ service?

Your CMGO subscription will be paused and you’ll need to re-activate your CMGO subscription using your Hub iD once your StarHub TV+ service resumes.

How do I terminate my CMGO subscription with StarHub?

You can terminate your CMGO subscription anytime via StarHub App by following these steps:


1.    Select “TV” on the StarHub App home screen.
2.    Select your TV subscription if you have more than 1 TV subscription(s).
3.    Under “My passes & add-ons”, select the “Modify” button.
4.    Under “Modify TV Plan”, scroll down to “Add-on apps” and select “CMGO (Add-On).
5.    Select “Remove” and click “Review add-on changes”.
6.    Review the subscription details and click “Submit”.
7.    You will receive an SMS once your termination request is successful.

Will there be any early termination charges if I decide to cancel my CMGO subscription?

There are no termination fees for CMGO. You have full control to choose how long you want to enjoy your CMGO subscription.

How do I log in to CMGO with my Hub iD?

How do I access CMGO on the StarHub TV+ Box or StarHub TV+ Pro?

First, you’ll need to activate your CMGO subscription using your Hub iD on the CMGO website.


Thereafter, you can access the CMGO app on the StarHub TV+ Box or StarHub TV+ Pro under Featured Apps on the home screen by installing the app from the Google Play Store for the first time. Follow the on-screen instructions to login and start watching.

How many concurrent streams can I enjoy on CMGO?

With the CMGO subscription, you can enjoy 3 concurrent streams at the same time on any supported devices. Do note that web browsers are counted as individual devices.

Are subtitles and dubbing available for titles on CMGO?

Movies on CMGO are available in their original soundtrack and/or in Mandarin, and other languages/dubs where applicable. Subtitles are available in various languages, which can vary by country/ region and title.

Can I download movies on CMGO?

Movies are made available for download as much as possible. When a title is not available to download, it can be for a few reasons including: a) The content rights are currently not available to purchase from the content provider; or b) the content rights are currently exclusive to another company.

Will mobile data charges apply when I stream on CMGO?

Do note that any mobile data used while streaming on CMGO will be deducted from your data allowance bundle. A friendly tip: Use your home WiFi to stream to avoid data bill shock, or you can download your favourite shows onto your mobile devices to watch on-the-go without an Internet connection.

Are there restricted content on CMGO?

Yes, there are selected content on CMGO with the following content classifications:

  • General - Suitable for all ages.

  • Parental Guidance (PG) - Suitable for all, but parents should guide their young.

  • Parental Guidance 13 (PG13) - Suitable for persons aged 13 and above but parental guidance is advised for children below 13.

  • No Children Under 16 (NC16) - Suitable for persons aged 16 and above.

  • Mature 18 (M18) - Suitable for persons aged 18 and above

  • Restricted 21 (R21) - Restricted to persons aged 21 and above.

As a parent, how can I ensure that it is safe for my kids to stream on CMGO?

A R21/Profile PIN is required to access restricted content on CMGO app.
You can set your Profile PIN during your one-time registration when you first log in.

Are Chromecast and Airplay supported on the CMGO app?

Yes, you can make use of the Airplay and Chromecast functionality to cast the shows to TV screens.

Can I use CMGO outside of Singapore?

You can access the content on CMGO if you are travelling or are outside Singapore, provided the said content is available in that country/region. However, you can make use of the Download function to download your favourite movies before your trip and watch them offline while you are travelling overseas!

Note: To access your downloaded content while travelling, do ensure that you are logged in to the CMGO app before leaving the country.
