Set Up Your Star Plan APN

What should be APN setting for Star Plan? Is this automatically configured or do I need to set it up myself?

The APN is automatically configured on your device. In the event that you're not using the correct APN, you can set it up manually by entering SHWAP under "Name" and "APN".

Where can I view my APN configuration?

If you’re using an Apple device, you can check your APN in Settings >> Cellular >> Cellular Data Network.

If you’re using an Android device, you can go to Settings >> Connection >> Mobile Networks.

I'm having connection issues. Can I use the StarHub Prepaid APN instead?

In order not to have any disruption to your data connectivity, please ensure that you're using SHWAP as the APN. You can set it up manually by entering SHWAP under "Name" and "APN".

Can I use the Star Plan APN in my StarHub postpaid or prepaid line?

Is there any event where I should change my APN?

You can manually set up your APN to SHWAP if this is not what's configured in your device. Please ensure that you're using SHWAP to not have any disruption to your data connectivity.
