1
What is the WOW Prepaid Data Plan?

WOW Data Plan is a data add-on service for StarHub Prepaid customers. It comes with 3-day, 1-week, and 4-week validity you can choose from and can be used not only in Singapore but across 17 Happy Roam destinations, including Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, and Japan.

To get started, just pick a WOW Data Plan that suits your surfing needs.

2
How do I buy a WOW Data Plan?

It’s easy! You can browse all our data plans then buy one in any of the 3 ways:

1. Via our StarHub Prepaid App

2. By using our prepaid online top-up

3. Go to any StarHub Prepaid retailer

Alternatively, if you already have a prepaid card but don’t wish to buy a plan, you can choose to surf “pay-per-use” at a data charge of 5¢ per 10KB. But why miss out on flexible data choices that include FREE 40GB on Sundays? Have a look at data plans!

3
What is the validity period of WOW Data Plans?

Our WOW Data Plans comes in 3-Day, 1-week (7 days) and 4-week (28 days) to suit your data needs.

4
How do I get Free 40GB data on Sundays?

You get to enjoy 40GB of data for free over 4 Sundays when you buy any of these 4-week WOW Data Plans:

  • 2GB for $18
  • 4GB for $25

You can only use the free data in Singapore. Plus, a standard Fair Usage policy means you can enjoy your data at our superfast data speeds up to a 10GB limit. Beyond which, we may impose a speed limit of 1Mbps on your extra data use until the end of that Sunday. But rest assured there’ll be no extra data charges on those 4 Sundays no matter how much data you use, and any speed limit will be lifted the next day.

Free Sunday Data can be extended with another WOW Data Plan with Free Sunday Data. Its validity extension is capped at 4-weeks.

5
Can I use my WOW Data Plan overseas?

Yes, you can! Our WOW Data Plans can be used in all 17 Happy Roam destinations, which include travel hotspots like Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and more. Best of all, the data you use will be charged according to Singapore data rates, so you won’t ever have to worry about extra roaming charges.

If you’re in a country that isn’t under our Happy Roam destination list, the WOW Data Plan will not work, and you’ll be charged for any data use at the prevailing roaming rates. In addition, if you’ve picked a plan with free 40GB of data, you can only use the free data in Singapore.

6
How do I check my data balance and expiry date?

To check your existing account balance and expiry date, download StarHub Prepaid App on your phone.

7
What happens after my Data Plan balance is used up or expired?

If you’ve used up your plan’s balance, any extra data use will be charged at a “pay-per-use” rate of 5¢ per 10KB. The charges will be deducted from your available balance. If your data plan expires, any unused data will be forfeited.

You can then immediately top up or buy a new plan in a few ways.

8
What is the expiry extension policy for Prepaid Data Plans?

Simply buy a new data plan before your current plan expires! You’ll add on to your current data balance (capped at 100GB), and extend its validity based on your new plan. Depending on your WOW Data Plan, it can be valid for up to 28 days.

Example: If you buy a 4-Week 2GB Data Plan with Free Data on Sundays, on 09 April at 2000hrs and purchase another 1-Week 1GB Data Plan on 16 April, your 3GB of data will be valid till 14 May 1959hrs; while validity of Free Sunday Data is 7 May 2359hrs.

9

You can hold a maximum of 100GB of data.

10
