My device is displaying “SIM card not found”. What should I do?

I can’t send or receive SMS. What should I do?
Reboot your device by switching if off and on. If you still can’t send or receive SMS, try using your SIM card on another handset.
I can’t make or receive calls. What should I do?
Make sure that the device you’re using doesn’t have call barring on. If you can’t receive calls from just a particular number, check if the number is in your blocked contacts.

Close any app or software utilizing a lot of data (you may have apps running in the background). Make sure there are no downloads ongoing, and you’re not streaming or playing videos. If possible, close all browsers too. Then try using your mobile data again to see if connection improved.
