What talktime and SMS add-ons can I subscribe to?
You can choose from these talktime add-ons:
- 500 mins for $5.45/month
- 1,000 mins for $10.90/month
For SMS, these are your options:
- 125 SMS for $5.45/month
- 250 SMS for $10.90/month
These add-ons are available to customers with the following plans:
- 4G $25 SIM Only Plan
- 4G $50 SIM Only Plan
- 4G $55 2-Year Plan
- 4G $80 2-Year Plan
- 4G $110 2-Year Plan
- Mobile+ $69 2-Year Plan
- Mobile+ $99 2-Year Plan
- Mobile+ $169 2-Year Plan
Why has the entitlement for the SMS add-ons been changed?
The entitlement for our SMS add-ons has been updated with effect from 30 March 2023 to reflect the current market standard.
What will happen to my SMS add-on entitlement if the change happens in the middle of my billing cycle?
For example, you're subscribed to 1000 SMS for $10.90, and your current billing cycle is from 12 March to 11 April.
The new entitlement (250 SMS) will take effect on 30 March 2023. And if you have consumed 500 SMS from 12 March to 11 April, it means that you have already reached your limit and will be charged for the 250 excess SMS.
In case your SMS usage exceeds the new entitlement before the end of your billing cycle, pay-per-use charges will apply.
Will I incur any administrative or service activation charge when I subscribe to a talktime/SMS add-on?
Good news! We’re doing away with all one-time administrative and service activation charges for Mobile+ and 4G mobile plans.
Can I add 500 mins and 1,000 mins or 125 SMS and 250 SMS together at the same time?
We’ve designed the talktime and SMS add-ons based on our customers' usage pattern. Choose the add-on that best suits your needs and you can change it anytime to accommodate your usage behaviour. There’s no need to add 2 different talktime/SMS at the same time.
Is there any lock-in period for the talktime and SMS add-ons?
The talktime and SMS add-ons are offered without any lock-in period. You can unsubscribe anytime without any termination fees.

Are the older talktime and SMS add-ons available for my Mobile+ or 4G mobile plan?
As part of our ongoing efforts to simplify and streamline our service offerings, older talktime and SMS add-ons are not applicable to the Mobile+ or 4G mobile plans.
Are the 500 mins, 1,000 mins, 125 SMS and 500 SMS applicable to the older mobile plans?
These talktime and SMS add-ons are customised for the Mobile+ and 4G mobile plans, hence they are not applicable to the older plans.

Will I be notified when my request to add talktime/SMS is confirmed?
Yes. Once your request for additional talktime/SMS has been successfully processed, a confirmation SMS will be sent to you. You may also check the details on StarHub App.
What’s the usual charge for SMS and talktime if I don’t subscribe to an add-on?
Once you've consumed your talktime or SMS entitlement, excess usage will cost 16.20 cents/minute for voice calls and 5.40 cents/SMS.

- 2400 SMS for $10.19/month

You can customise your plan by subscribing to a talktime or SMS add-on via My Account or StarHub App. Make sure to log in using your Hub iD.
Can I add 300 mins and 800 mins or 500 SMS and 1,200 SMS together at the same time?
We’ve designed the range of talktime and SMS add-ons based on our customers' usage pattern. Choose the add-on suitable for your needs. You will not need to add 2 different talktime/SMS add-ons at the same time.
Can I add on more talktime and SMS to my Shareplus child line?
Sure! It’s your plan, customise it the way you like it. Add on more data, talktime or SMS anytime you need it via My Account or StarHub App.
Can my SharePlus child line use my talktime and SMS add-ons?
No, the SMS and talktime add-ons are for the SharePlus parent line to use and cannot be shared with the SharePlus child line. If the SharePlus child line wishes to subscribe to the SMS and talktime add-ons, they can sign up via My Account or StarHub App.
Is there any lock in period for the talktime and SMS add-ons?
The talktime and SMS add-ons are offered without any lock-in contract period or commitment. You can choose to unsubscribe anytime without having to pay any penalty.
