How to purchase & install your Tourist eSIM

To purchase our eSIM plan, download the StarHub App and purchase your eSIM via the app.You can also manage and track usage of your tourist SIM on the app. 

Step 1 

Purchase your tourist eSIM on the StarHub App. Check to ensure your device is eSIM-compatible and not carrier-locked.

Step 2 

Upon successful registration, you will receive your eSIM QR code via StarHub App and your email.

Step 3 

Follow the instructions in the email to install your eSIM and add it to your mobile data settings. And you're all set!

1. What documents do I need to provide to purchase a Tourist SIM or eSIM?

For purchases of Tourist SIM over the counter, you will need to have your passport ready for verification at the airport counter.

For purchases of Tourist eSIM via the StarHub app, you will also need your passport ready to complete a digital ID verification in the StarHub app before your eSIM can be used.

2. Who is eligible for Tourist SIM or eSIM?

All visitors 15 years and above to Singapore who are looking to get connected on a short-term mobile plan, can sign up for a Tourist SIM or eSIM plan. 

For Tourist eSIM, you will need to own an eSIM-supported device to sign up for a Tourist eSIM plan.

*Please note that due to local country regulations, credit cards issued in India is tentatively not able to make payment through StarHub app. Please use an alternative credit card for payment if available.

3. Why do I need a Hub iD when i buy a Tourist SIM/eSIM Plan?

Your Hub iD lets you manage your Tourist SIM/eSIM plan, check your plan usage, get Chat Support and also to re-send your eSIM QR code if required.
