Max Activation Guide
How do I activate my Max bundled access?
We will send an activation link via SMS and/or email within 24 hours after your eligible StarHub service has been fully activated. Then, you can activate your Max bundled access in 3 simple steps:
Step 1:
Click on the activation link that will lead you to the StarHub App. Please update the app to the latest version if you haven’t done so.
Note: If you have not received the activation link via SMS or email after 24 hours from your service activation, you can simply go to the StarHub App, click on the “Entertainment” tab and select “Max”.
• Click on “Manage & Info” under the Max section.
• Tap on “Manage subscription”.
Step 2:
The Max Subscription page will display the Max bundled access that’s tied to your StarHub Service. Click "Activate" to proceed to the Max webpage and create a Max account.
Step 3:
On the Max webpage, enter an email address, password, and your name to create your Max account. If you are entitled to more than one Max bundled access, please use a different email address and password to create separate Max accounts.
Note: If you have an existing Max subscription directly with Max, you can use the same email address to activate your Max account with the bundled access from StarHub. Once confirmed, your Max subscription directly with Max will automatically be cancelled and you will be billed via StarHub only (where applicable).
You are all set to go! You can start streaming on www.max.com or download the app on your mobile devices.

What should I do if I did not receive an activation link?
The activation SMS or email will serve as a reminder that you can now activate your Max bundled access, and will include a quick link for you to download the StarHub App or redirect you immediately to the Max activation page.
If you have yet to receive the activation link after 24 hours from your eligible StarHub Service activation, you may manually activate your Max subscription by following the instructions on the "How do I activate my Max bundled access?" FAQ on this page.
When do I need to activate my Max bundled access?
Your Max bundled access period will start from the date your eligible StarHub Service is activated.
To take advantage of the bundled access, you are encouraged to activate your Max account within 30 days from receiving the activation link.
Regardless of activation date, your Max bundled access will remain active as long as you have an active subscription to an eligible StarHub Service.
I have signed up for more than one eligible plan, will I be entitled to more than one Max bundled access?
Yes, you can enjoy one Max bundled access with each eligible plan. However, you will be required to use a different email address to register for separate Max accounts.
The Max activation page in the StarHub App will display the Max bundled access that’s tied to the StarHub service.
Can I use the same email address for the StarHub App to create a Max account?
Yes, you can use the same email address as your Hub iD to create a Max account.
If you are entitled to multiple Max bundled access due to multiple eligible services/plans, you will be required to use different email addresses to register for separate Max accounts.
I have a direct subscription through Max. Can I transfer my Max subscription to StarHub?
If you have a Max Standard subscription directly through Max
You can still sign up for the StarHub promotion and activate using the same email address as your existing Max Standard subscription. Upon your confirmation to be billed through StarHub, your existing Max billing method will be cancelled and all billing for your subscription will be managed through StarHub.
If you have a Max Ultimate subscription directly through Max
You can still sign up for the StarHub promotion and activate using a different email address as your existing Max Standard subscription. If you activate using the same email address as your existing Max Ultimate subscription, you will concurrently be billed by both Max and StarHub. unless you cancel your Max Ultimate subscription through Max.
Which are the devices I can use to stream Max?
You can stream Max on phones, tablets, computers, TVs, streaming players and set-top boxes.
To start streaming today, install the Max app or go to max.com on your computer. Refer to the list of supported devices here.
Max is also available on the StarHub TV+ Box and StarHub TV+ Pro. Refer to the FAQ below.
How do I access Max on the StarHub TV+ set-top box?
You can access the Max app under Featured Apps on the home screen of your StarHub TV+ set-top box.

You will need to sign in with your Google account to download the Max app from the Google Play Store for the first time.
How do I start streaming on Max?
Once you have activated your Max account, you can login to the Max App with your registered email and password to start streaming on Max.
I followed the instructions but was still unable to activate Max. What should I do?
How do I unsubscribe from my Max bundled access?
For customers on HomeHub+ UltraSpeed 5Gbps / 10Gbps plan (with Max) or HomeHub+ UltraEntertainment HBO bundle
As HBO Pak and Max are bundled as part of your HomeHub+ plan, you will not be able to unsubscribe from Max unless you terminate your HomeHub+ plan. Do note that an early termination charge will apply in the event of a premature cancellation.
For customers on HBO Pak / Box Office Pack / Supreme Box Office Pack / Movies Pass
To unsubscribe from Max, you will need to cancel your active subscription to HBO Pak / Box Office Pack / Supreme Box Office Pack / Movies Pass.
